When conducting a lie detector test, the following data is processed:
•Master data (name, address, contact details)
•Contract details (date, test type, costs)
•Measurement data from the polygraph (e.g. pulse, respiratory rate, skin conductivity, blood pressure)
•Information from the preliminary interview (questions, answers, personal information)
 
3. Purpose of data processing
•Conducting the lie detector test
•Creation and provision of test results
•Billing and organizational processing
•Documentation for internal quality assurance
 
4. Legal basis
•Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of contract)
•Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) – required, especially for the processing of sensitive measurement data
•Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR (express consent to the processing of special categories of personal data)
 
5. Transfer of data
•Data will only be passed on to the persons concerned.
•No disclosure to third parties or public bodies unless there is express written consent or a legal obligation.
 
6. Storage period
•Measurement data and test results will be deleted no later than 30 days after the test has been carried out, unless further storage is agreed or required by law.
•Contract and billing data are stored in accordance with tax and commercial law requirements (usually 10 years).
 
7. Rights of data subjects
 
Every data subject has the right:

•to deletion (Art. 17 GDPR)
•to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
•to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

8. Consent
 
Before each test, a written consent form is obtained in which the data subjects confirm that they agree to the collection, processing, and storage of their data. Without consent, testing cannot be conducted.
